Mrs. Kristy Nicole Keef Erwin, age 47, of Gaylesville, AL, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mrs. Erwin was born July 22, 1974, in Rome, GA, daughter of Regina Strawn and the late Johnny Keef.  She was a member of New Hope South Baptist Church and was employed as a clerk with the Cherokee County Probate Court.  She was a 1993 graduate of Darlington School and was an avid horseback rider and rancher.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Byron Erwin; and grandfather, Robert Harvey Strawn.

Survivors include her son, Lee Armstrong; daughter, Isabelle Armstrong (John Berg); grandmother, Doris Jean Strawn; sister, Lacy (Phil) Clack; grandchild, Josie Armstrong; and her mother, Regina Strawn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at New Hope South Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Roach officiating.  Interment will follow in New Hope South Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Lee Armstrong, Philip Clack, Jr., John Berg, Marcus Strawn, Wyatt Strawn, and Tyler Bishop.

Mrs. Erwin will be in state at New Hope South Baptist Church and the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday.
