Mr. Lamar Millican, age 65, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Millican was born September 24, 1956, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Carlton Lee Millican and Faye Timms Helton.  He was a member of Berryton Bible Mission, and prior to his retirement, worked as an electrician with Sunstate Electric.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Nathan Adams; sister, Patsy Thompson; and father-in-law, Rev. Jerry Rutledge.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Millican; sons, Chris Millican, Jesse (Christina) Jackson, Jeremy (Shaunda) Jackson, and Lucas (Tiffany) Jackson; a brother, Rickey Millican; sister, Robin Brookshire; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Reynolds officiating.

Mr. Millican will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until the service hour on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
