Mrs. Madlyn Anne McCauley 74 of Summerville passed away on Thursday at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Ms. McCauley was born July 26, 1936 in Bristol, Pennsylvania…She was retired from West Point Pepperell and was a member of the Pennville Gospel Tabernacle…She was preceded in death by her husband , Bryson Degran McCauley Jr. father and mother, Joseph Edward Birtell and Bertha Sohns Birtell, daughters Deborah Ann Crump, and Lynn Ellen McCauley, brother Edward Birtell and sister, Clara Fletcher…

Ms. MCauley is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Bryson E. and JoAnn McCauley and Richard D. McCauley of Summerville, daughter and son in law Robin and Ernest Johnson of Decatur, TN. sisters Jean Brown and Katherine Cartier of New Jersey, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews…

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2PM from the Erwin Petitt Funeral Home with Rev Harold Helton and Rev. Ricky Biddle officiating, interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery…She will lie in state from 6 to 8PM at the Funeral Home…
