Ms. Angelita Tremaine Evans, age 51, of Summerville, GA, passed away Friday March 18, 2011. She was born Feburary 18, 1960, in Chattooga County GA, the daughter of Alvin Evans and Mildred Foster Jones. She graduated from CHS, was employed with the Roper Corp. for 11 years until departure due to health. Angelita was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father, Alvin Evans, mother, Mildred (Ivory) Jones, daughters, Constance & (Maurice) Daniel, Zoe White, sister, Cecelia & (Senorise) Perry, Sr., brothers, Stacey & (Deborah) Evans, Beck Evans, Juan Evans, grandson, Myles Daniel, a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 23, 2011 at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Roach officiating with interment in the Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Larry Alllen, George Brooks, Dan Mostiller, Michael Mack, Lee Johnson, Lawrence Sharp. Flowers Bearers, Greonna Brooks, Rebecca Burse, Janell Darden, Hope Sams, Minnie Adams, Jacque Starr. Ms. Evans will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Wednesday March 23, 2011.
