MR. JAMES ALLGOOD, JR. – Age 80, of Trion, Georgia passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 with his family at his bedside. He was born on June 24, 1943 to the late James Allgood, Sr. and Florence Penn London Allgood, Sr. and attended Chattooga County Schools. He retired from the Trion City Government. He was preceded in death by his adopted mother, Eula Mae McCutchins and daughter, Penny Allgood.

Survivors are his daughter, Samantha (John Walker) Allgood of Trion, GA., stepdaughters, Angela Adams, Charity Allgood of Summerville, GA., granddaughter, Alexus Allgood, great grandchildren, Aayden Allgood, Tristyn Allgood of LaFayette, GA., Nathaniel Booker, Dorcas Woody, Juan Bostick, Ayanna Cofield, sisters, Ann Montgomery, Anna McCutchins, Vivian Wells of Summerville, GA., brothers, Tracey McCutchins, Roger (Apostille Jennifer) London, best friend, Anthony Christopher and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 07, 2024 at 3:30 P.M. at New Spirit and Truth Assembly of Jesus, 487 Scoggins Street, Summerville, GA., 30747 with Pastor Bishop V.T. Harden officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before service. Interment, Allgood Cemetery.
