Mrs. Mildred Onell Bowman, age 73, of Menlo, Georgia, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Bowman was born in Blue Pond, Alabama on August 18, 1937, daughter of the late Ed Brewster and Pearl Steele Brewster and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Bowman is survived by her husband, Romie Bowman; Son, Allen Pickle; Sister, Edna Wilbanks; nieces, Syble Wilson and Janice Gorham; and a nephew, Larry Gorham.

 Funeral Services for Mrs. Bowman will be held Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Mason Funeral Home with Minister Tommy Broome and Chaplain Kathy Myers officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Treadaway, Yoga Hegwood, Henry Covington, Jeff Phillips, Greg Plunkett and David Cavin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kay & Jerry Hamby, Madge Fox, Jan Cordle, Ronald & Carolyn Hill, Nurses of At Peace Hopsice and Members of the Menlo Presbyterian Church.

 Mrs. Bowman will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
