Mr. Jerry Eugene "Jake" Thomas, age 71, of Summerville, GA died Thursday, July 14, 2011

at Erlanger Medical Center.

Mr. Thomas was born January 25,1940, in Jamestown, AL, the son of the late Jack Starling

and Maggie Tankersley Thomas. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters,

Sylvia Huskey, Lois Bean, and Betty Grant, and a brother, Jack R. Thomas.

Survivors include sisters, Bobbie Watkins and Ruth Rogers; brothers, Randy Thomas and

James L. Thomas; and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p. m. Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the chapel of Mason

Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in Ami Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Harris, Chuck Harris, Christopher Doss, Lebron Mitchell, Doyle

Thomas, and Dillard Thomas.

Mr. Thomas will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from

3:00 until 5:00 p. m. Sunday, July 17, 2011.
