Mr. Felton Smith Jr. 84 of Chickamauga passed away Monday September 12th, he was a retired construction worker and veteran of the armed forces and a Baptist by faith, Preceded in death by His parents, Mr. Felton Smith Sr. and Mrs Mattie Mae Avery Smith…..Survivors include a special friend Mrs. Ella B. Cleveland  of Chicamauga, 2 nieces, Mrs. Betty Jo Wooten of Summerville and Mrs. Virginia Riles of Naples , Florida , one aunt Mrs. Lillie Mae Stewart of Summerville, 4 cousins, Mr. Henry Avery and Mr. Leonard Avery of Summerville and Mrs. Annie Mae Bryant from Chickamauga and Mrs. Voncelle Coleman of Chattanooga Tennessee, special friend Mr. Franklin Hawkins of Chickamauga and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends survive…Funeral service will be held Saturday September 17th at 1 PM from Shady Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Montgomery officiating, his remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11AM.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service,interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday September 19th at 11:30AM, arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, condolences may be sent to the family at www.willisfuneralhomedalton.com
