Mrs. Thelma Olivia Allgood, age 90, of Summerville, GA died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. Allgood was born August 21, 1921 in Holland, GA, the daughter of the late John and Viola Myles Adams. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Allgood’s love was gardening and raising flowers. She proudly cared for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was an inspiration to others in guidance of life lessons. Other than her parents, Mrs. Allgood was preceded in death by her first husband, Grady E. Loveless, and her second husband, Albert Allgood; sons, James Loveless and Larry Loveless; daughter,
Mrs. Allgood left behind her children, Charles and wife, Dorothy Loveless, Huntsville, AL, Johnny Loveless, Summerville, GA, Calvin Loveless, San Diego, CA, Grady and wife, Regina Loveless, LaFayette, GA, Arbie D. Loveless and Judy N. Loveless,Summerville, GA; step-daughter, Kay Frances Moody, Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Helen Mims, Toledo, OH, Wilma Warren, Chattanooga, TN, Dorothy O’Donal, Denver, CO, Bea, and husband, Lee Victorian, Holland, OH, Gladys, and husband, Arnell Mitchell, Teledo, OH; brothers, John D. and wife, Lurlene Adams, Summerville, GA, and George, and wife, Doretha Adams, Columbia, SC; and a host of Grandchildren, Great- grandchildren, and Great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Loveless and Rev. Willie H. Perkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews. Flower girls will be Granddaughters and Nieces. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Evans, James Miller, and William Ludy.
Mrs. Allgood will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 p. m. until the service hour on Monday.
