Only three weeks remain in the 2025 high school football regular season.  The Trion Bulldogs will be our only local team in action tonight as the Chattooga Indians have a bye week this week.

Trion moved to 3-5 on the season after a tough 35-28 losss last week at home to Westbrook Christian.  The Bulldogs will try to regroup tonight as they go on the road in a pivotal region game against Greenville.  Trion currently sits in 3rd place in region 7-A but the Bulldogs will need a win tonight against Greenville to keep that spot.  Greenville is 3-4 overall on the season and 0-1 in region play.  The Patriots have wins over Calhoun County, Hardaway and Mount Bethel Christian.  Greenville’s losses have come against Pike County, Mount Zion, Columbus and last week against Mount Vernon 66-20.

The Trion broadcast crew will make the two and half hour drive to Greenville which is just east of LaGrange.  Paul Cavin and Jeremy Burke will call the action along with cameraman Jim Warnock and engineer Sam Kohler.  The game will be broadcast live on the WZQZ Facebook page as well as on the radio at 99.1 FM and AM 1180.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
