The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce has moved its offices to the Hurley Community Development Center in downtown Summerville, a transition leaders say will strengthen the Chamber’s ability to serve members and support continued growth across Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia.
Along with the relocation, the Chamber is launching business space rentals at the facility, creating new options for entrepreneurs, startups, and existing businesses that need flexible office or meeting space. Chamber officials say the added space is intended to help local businesses establish a foothold, host professional gatherings, and operate more efficiently—while keeping resources centralized in the heart of the community.
The Hurley Community Development Center is located at 10050 Commerce Street in Summerville, in the former bank building at the corner of East Washington Street and Commerce Street. The building was made available for community use with the intention of creating a community-focused meeting and gathering space.
Reports note that the location underwent substantial renovation work to convert it into a dedicated center for meetings, events, and community activities, and that it is leased to Chattooga County on a long-term basis.
Chamber leaders say the move into the Hurley Community Development Center aligns with broader efforts to strengthen partnerships, improve access to business resources, and create more opportunities for economic development across Northwest Georgia.
More details on rental availability and how to reserve space are expected to be released soon through the Chamber.
