A Rossville man is in custody after Walker County investigators arrested him on multiple child sex crime charges following an investigation involving a minor victim.
According to investigators, deputies were first dispatched on Dec. 11 after a caller reported allegations involving a juvenile. The caller told officers the victim had come forward days earlier and disclosed several sexual offenses that allegedly occurred at a home in Walker County.
An affidavit states the caller reported the suspect was present when the victim confronted him, then left the home and returned to his own residence. Investigators were also told the suspect normally contacted the family daily and visited regularly, but had not been heard from since the confrontation.
Authorities say the caller could not provide an exact timeframe for when the alleged incidents occurred, but reported at least two occasions where the suspect—who was trusted with the victim—allegedly took the victim to his home and engaged in sexual acts.
On Dec. 22, investigators say they assisted in serving an arrest warrant and search warrant at a residence in Rossville. Officers initially found no one home, then contacted the suspect by phone. The affidavit states the suspect said he was on the way back and arrived about 10 minutes later. Terry Wren Price was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Walker County Jail.
This investigation remains ongoing.
