The Chattooga County Environmental Health Department has released health inspection results for the first half of February 2026, showing a range of scores for local food service establishments in Summerville and Trion.

Bojangles at 11277 Highway 27 in Summerville received a routine inspection score of 89 on February 11, 2026, with Rashelle Eubanks listed as the inspector. The inspection report noted two time/temperature control for safety (TCS) violations involving cold holding and hot holding temperatures.

For cold holding, the report cited proper cold holding temperatures after liquid eggs were observed being held above 41°F at the grill prep station (noted as 61°F). The corrective action stated that TCS foods must be held at 41°F or lower, and the issue was corrected during the inspection when the person in charge discarded the liquid eggs and replaced the container with a new ice bath. The violation was marked as a repeat and was corrected on site.

For hot holding, the report cited proper hot holding temperatures after TCS foods were observed being held below 135°F, including fried chicken items listed around 110°F to 130°F. The corrective action stated that TCS foods must be held at 135°F or higher, and the issue was corrected during the inspection when the person in charge reheated the items to 165°F or higher and then returned them to hot holding at the proper temperature. This violation was also marked as a repeat and was corrected during the inspection.

In other inspection results, TRIO Community Meals, LLC at 203 Central Avenue in Trion earned a perfect score of 100 on February 3, 2026.
