MRS. OCIE MARIE ADAMS HUDSON – of Menlo, GA passed away on  Sunday, August 30, 2026.  She was born on November 12, 1943 in Cherokee County, Alabama to the late Arzie Adams and Lena Beatrice Moseley Adams.  She was preceded by her husband, Salpher Hudson, sister Delores Walker, brothers, Arzie LaVan Adams, and James Butch Adams.  Mrs. Ocie Hudson was a lifelong member of West Fifth Street Church of Christ, graduate of A. C. Carter High School, and was retired from Shaw Industries.

Loving precious memories will remain with her devoted daughter, Stephanie (Lawrence, I.) Broughton; grandchildren , Kayla, Lawrence II, Marcus Broughton; grandchildren, Ashanti, and Jaxson; sister, Nancy Allen, sister/cousin, Barbara Long; brother-in-law, Ken Brown, bonus sister and brother, Lydia and Michael Dorsey; special nieces, Wendy Martin, Michelle Woody; special cousin, Louis Moseley; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins,  extended family, friends, and her church family.

Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 2:00 P. M. at West Fifth Street Church of Christ, 24th Fifth Street, Summerville, Georgia  30747, with Pastor John Lewis as Eulogist and other Ministers officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.  Interment, Ami Cemetery in Menlo, Georgia.  Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
