The Trion Bulldogs’ football game against Greenville has been moved to an earlier kickoff time once again because of concerns about approaching severe weather.
Tonight’s game at Greenville will now kick off at 6 PM, moving up from the previously announced 6:30 PM start. The game was originally scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Trion enters tonight’s contest with a 5-1 record and a four-game winning streak. The Bulldogs will face a Greenville team that enters the matchup with a 1-4 record.
The contest marks the beginning of region play for Trion as the Bulldogs look to continue their winning streak.
The schedule changes come as Hurricane Isaias threatens to bring heavy rainfall, damaging winds and possible severe thunderstorms to Georgia this weekend.
WZQZ Radio will broadcast the game on FM 99.1, with Paul Cavin providing play-by-play and Jeremy Burke serving as analyst. The game will also be streamed on the WZQZ Radio Facebook page, with Sam Kholer handling camera duties.
Again, kickoff for Trion at Greenville is now set for 6 PM tonight.
