Make sure you watch out for deer on local roadways.

Three accidents were reported this weekend involving deer.

An Echols Road resident reported hitting a tree while trying to dodge a deer on Perennial Springs Road. Steven Bullard said he was traveling West on Perennial Springs when the deer ran into the patch of his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado. He said his truck left the roadway and he hit a tree causing moderate damage to the front passenger area of the vehicle. There were no Injuries.

Another man reported that while traveling South on Highway 27 between Walmart and Back Penn road, he hit a deer with his 1994 Ford Mustang. Moderate damage was caused to the vehicle.

On Sunday Sherolyn Austin reported that she was traveling North on Highway 27 when a deer ran on the road and struck her car damaging the passenger side bumper, headlight and grill of her 2001 Ford F-150.
