Mr. Charles William “Chuck” Porter, age 51, of Menlo, GA, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Porter was born February 23, 1961, in Miami, Fl the son of Patricia Joan McGraw Campbell and the late Charles Alfred Porter. He had worked for Padgett Trucking as a truck driver. He attended Cedar Chapel Church.

Survivors include mother, Patricia Joan McGraw Campbell, brothers, Jerry Porter, Tom Porter, special friend, Brenda Guffey.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday February 20, 2013, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Mason officiating with interment to follow in the Lyerly Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Zachery Wells, Daniel Wells, Mike Gass, Stacey Mitchell, William “Bubba” Browning, Jerome Myrick.

Mr. Porter will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 19, 2013.
