Mrs. Margaret Ann Wilbanks Elliott, age 71, of Trion, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

Mrs. Elliott was born in Trion, Georgia on August 30, 1941, daughter of the late Charles Herman Wilbanks, Sr. and Lillie Maxwell Wilbanks. She was a member of the Church of Christ and prior to her retirement, was employed with Roper. Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Buck” Elliott, and a sister, Frances Spraggins.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Penny Becker and Keith Miller, and Cheryl and Sonny Durham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Nellie Wilbanks and Herman “Bud” and Margaret Wilbanks; sister, Helen Williamson; grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Durham and Sabrina Durham Thompson; great grandchildren, Hailey Durham, Logan Cochran, Brady Thompson, and Jayden Thompson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Elliott will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Mason Funeral Home with Minister Brad Hayes and Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Harris, Tim Langston, Michael Adams Billy Bennett and Nubbin Sanders.

Mrs. Elliot will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 P.M.
