Mrs. Odessa Pauline Finster, age 94 of Conyers,

Ga., formerly of Summerville passed away Friday,

March 22, 2013. She was born November 7, 1918

in Dekalb Co., AL daughter of the late Noah

Griffin& Mary Elizabeth Craze Freeman. She was

a Housewife and a member of Silver Hill Baptist

Church.She was preceded in death by 5 siblings

 and her husband,William Howard Finster.

 

Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law:

VirginiaEarlene & Olin S. Brown, Summerville;

GladysLorene Vines, Summerville; Thelma Jean

 & G.C. Bradshaw,Conyers, Ga.; Beverly Wylene

& Danny Guinn,Summerville; son & daughter-in-

law Roy Gene &SharonFinster, Summerville;

several grandchildren & great-grandchildren;

several nieces & nephews survive.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March

25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Erwin-Petitt

Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wright and Rev. Ken

Johnson officiating.Interment will follow in Head

Springs Cemetery, ValleyHead, AL.

 

Pallbearers are requested to meet at the Funeral Home

at 12:30 on Monday and include the following:

Chuck Cox, Steve Brown, Paul & Eli Lavengood,

Eddie Wilson, John Mitchell & Randy Finster.

 HonoraryPallbearers are Allen & Andy Wilson and

 Charles Bradshaw.

 

Mrs. Finster will lie-in-state at Erwin-Petitt Funeral

Home where the family will receive friends from 3:00

until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2013.

 

Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home has charge of the funeral

arrangements for Mrs. Pauline Finster who passed

away on Friday.
