Mr. David Wayne Hurley, age 45, of Summerville, GA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center.

 Mr. Hurley was born November 15, 1967 in Chattooga County, GA, the son of Charles Wayne Hurley and Julia Ann Hartline Hurley.  He was employed b y Wheeler Trucking. Mr. Hurley was a member of Perennial Springs Baptist Church.  He was preceded  in death by a brother, Dylan Wayne Hurley; a sister, Pam Hurley Coley;  and his grandmother, Trixie Hurley.  He was a member of PKC and Chattooga River Coon Hunters Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Madysen Hurley; parents, Wayne and Julia Hurley; special friend and mother of his daughter, Laurie Hurley; nephew, Ethan Brison; and a number of cousins and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Bishop and Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.  Burial will follow in Perennial Springs Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Jason Jarrett, Farrell Anderson, Jeff Barnes, Tommy Turkett, Jeremy Croy, Joey Brewster, Cale Pledger, and Randy Dalrymple.  Honorary pallbearers will be Carlton Reynolds, Coon Hunting Friends, Truck Driver Friends, and all Personal Friends.

Mr. Hurley will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive

friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Thursday, May 2, 2013.

Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of Floyd Medical Center ICU.
