MR. MIKE MITCHELL, age 72, of Center, Alabama, formerly of Chattooga County, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013. Born in Walker County, Georgia on October 1, 1940, Mr. Mitchell was a son of the late Walter Jennings and Lydia Sprayberry Mitchell. He was retired from the U.S. Postal service. Surviving are daughter and spouse-Melanie and Greg Johnson of Gadsden, AL.; son and spouse-David and Robin Mitchell of Summerville; former spouse-Lola Grimes Mitchell of Trion; grandchildren-Marlene Mitchell and Skylar Mitchell; sister and spouse-Kathy and Bill Morgan of Trion; several Nieces and Nephews. Private funeral service, Sunday, June 2nd. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers the Family suggest contributions to the Kisumie Orphanage c/o United Community Bank.
