Mrs. Pat Nations Eden, age 47, of Gaylesville, AL, passed away in the wee hours of Thursday, August 22nd, 2013, after a long, hard battle with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. She was surrounded by her beloved husband and family.
Mrs. Eden was born October 26, 1965 in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, daughter of Hoyt Paul Nations, Sr. and Dallas Faye Kennedy Wofford. She was a member of the Sonrise Community Church and was employed with Mohawk Industries. Mrs. Eden was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrance Paul Nations.
Survivors include her husband, Josh Eden; sons, Brandon Carlton and T. J. Campbell; daughters, Brittany Smith and Krystal Campbell; mother, Dallas Faye Kennedy Wofford; father, Hoyt Paul Nations, Sr.; brother, Hoyt Paul Nations, Jr.; sisters, Paulla Nations and Christy Hilburn; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rick DeBerry.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eden will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 25, 2013, from the Chapel of the Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Chip Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Needmore Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Rick DeBerry, Mark Smith, Brandon Carlton, J.R. Nations, T. J. Campbell, and Ricky Hickman.
Mrs. Eden will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday.
