MRS. JACQUELINE POLLARD STRICKLAND, age 75, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday morning, August 30, 2013, in the local nursing home. Born in Summerville, Georgia on October 10, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Roy David and Emma Belle Ashworth Pollard. Mrs. Strickland was a member of the West Summerville Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons-Steven Strickland of Marietta, David Strickland of Woodstock, and Jeffery Strickland of Summerville; sister-Maribelle Wade of Newman; several Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 2nd, at 2:00 P.M. from the West Summerville Baptist Church, with Rev. Lavon Humphrey and Rev. William Harris officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Steven Strickland, David , Jeffery, Lucas, Hayden, Taylor, Andrew Hubbard, Stanley Pierce, Robert Luallen, Joseph Bachelor, Jon Atteberry. The Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
