Mrs. Alice Ruth Smith, age 87, of Summerville, GA
 
died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her residence.

 

Mrs. Smith was born October 1, 1926 in Summerville, GA,
 
the daughter of the late Onnie Middleton and Bessie Ricketts
 
Middleton.  Mrs. Smith was a member of the New Generation
 
Church. She was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills. Other than her
 
parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles
 
Junior Middleton.

 

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and
 
Jeanne Smith, Michael Smith, Donnie Smith, and Ricky and
 
Shirley Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Doug
 
Ledbetter, Judy and Zandell Roan, and Shelia and Dale Ellis;

 
12 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; and 7 Great
 
Great Grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Wednesday,
 
October 9, 2013 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
 
Danny Harkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill
 
Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Grandsons.  Honorary

 
pallbearers will be Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Smith will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the
 
family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Tuesday,
 
October 8, 2013.
