Mr. Ralph Moreland Cain, age 88, of Lyerly, GA, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at his residence.

 

Mr. Cain was born April 29, 1926, in Rossville, GA, son of the late John Cravon and Mary Lucille Moreland Cain.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin Cain.

 

Mr. Cain is survived by his caregiver, Iris Gail Dotson; very special friend and former case manager, Linda Garrett; and two nieces.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Cain will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 21, 2014, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Wright officiating.  Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Gary Dotson, Dwight Dotson, Zach Dotson, Jimmy Kidd, Lamar Chatman, and Rylan Jacob Ledford.  Honorary pallbearers will be caregivers, Lacey Ledford, Peggy Dotson, Kathy McCullough, Penny Cavin, Cindy Jackson, Dawn Hightower, and Mike Burke.

 

Mr. Cain will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Saturday.
