Ms. Carrie Bell McClam, age 73, of Summerville, Georgia passed away

Sunday, July 27, 2014 at her residence. She was preceded in death by

her parents, Henry and Ruth Player, two sons, Johnny McClam, Herbert

McClam, four brothers, Roy Lee, Vern, Herbert, and Orilie McClam,

granddaughter, Desirea Moore. She was known as a loving homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her memories those that she adored and loved so

much, two daughters, Minister Mary NeSmith of Lake City, South Carolina

and Denise (David) Moore of Summerville, Georgia; four loving sisters, Ruth

(Robert) Player of New Zion, South Carolina, Ruby Lee Player, Creola Mickens,

Emma Lee Wells of Turbeville, South Carolina; one loving brother, Ruben (Ann)

Player of Britton, South Carolina; one special uncle, Troy Brayboy of Sumter,

South Carolina; her grandchildren, Kendall Moore, David (Heather) Moore, Jr.,

and Iyanna Nesmith of Lake City; great grandchildren, Dayvoin Moore, Javon

Moore, and Zakale Moore; god grandchildren, Kynsli Watkins and Cydni White of

Summerville, Inayah Wallace and Imahri Jenkins of Lawrenceville, Georgia; god

daughters and my girls, Fecia Watkins, Keysha Patton and Preeya Fain; a devoted

friend, Aunt Sharon; a very special thanks and I love you all.

Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Carrie Bell McClam will be Saturday, August 2, 2014

at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Bishop L. Wheeler, Eulogist and Pastor

George H. Beavers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour

before the service. Interment, Oak Hill Cemetery. Please share your thoughts and
