MRS. MARION N. SHIVER, age 90, of Summerville, Georgia passed
 away Tuesday, December 30, 2014, in the local nursing home.  
Born on October 1, 1924, in Calhoun, Georgia, a daughter of the 
late John Hobson and Sarah Etta Frady Nelson.  She was a member
 of Summerville First Baptist Church, a member of the Dorcus Sunday
 School Class, and a faithful member of the choir. Together with Her 
late husband, Otis Shiver, she was in retail sales.  Mrs. Shiver was 
also a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Aux.

Surviving are sons & daughter-in-law, Nelson Shiver and Farrell
and Kay Willingham Shiver all of Woodstock; granddaughter, Sarah 
Bethany Shiver; brother & spouse-Charles and Helen Nelson of Varnell, GA.
; sisters-in-law, Edna Helton of Summerville and Linda & Alan Green of Lyerly;
 several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2nd, at 3:00 P.M. from the
Summerville First Baptist Church with Dr. Kenneth Summey, Dr. Paul Mason, 
and Dr. David Hunter officiating, interment in the Family plot of Summerville
 Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers-Michael Green, Marc Green, Cory Green, Adam
 Green, Ricky Wyatt, Stacey Wyatt, and Will Wyatt; Honorary Pallbearers-the 
Dorcua Sunday School Class of Summerville First Baptist Church and Administration
 and Staff of Oak View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  The Family will receive friends 
Thursday from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home; Mrs. Shiver will also be in state at the Church Friday, from 2 P.M. until the hour of service.
