MRS. MARY LOUISE FOWLER WILLIAMS, age 89, of LaFayette, Georgia, formerly of Subligna Community, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015, in the local nursing home.  She was born on August 2, 1926 to the late Carl Marion Flower, Sr. and Ester Rebecca Lenderman Fowler, in Bessemer, Alabama.  Mrs. Williams was a member of the Subligna Road Church of Christ, a seamstress, and was retired from the sewing department of Best Mfg. Company.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Loyd C. Williams, and siblings, the late Pauline Ball, Marie Plunkett, and Henry Fowler.

        Surviving are daughters & spouses, Pat & Larry Scoggins, Linda Sue Hogue, Barbara & Benny Price, Roxie Lynn & William D. Alexander, and Carolyn & Dale Tucker; brother, Carl Marion Flower, Jr.; many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

        Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15th, at 11:00 A.M. from the Subligna Road Church of Christ with Minister Tommy O’Kelley officiating, interment in Subligna Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers, Tony Scoggins, Brent Davis, Bengi Price, Brian Alexander, David Woosley, Mike Oldham, and Brian Baggett.  The Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home; Mrs. Williams will also be in state at the Church, Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.  At Mrs. Williams request, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the “Widows & Orphans Fund” c/o Subligna Road Church of Christ, #4255 Gore-Subligna Road, Summerville, Georgia, 30747.
