MR. ROBERT E. (SPOOKY) DAWSON, age 62, of Gore-Subligna Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday afternoon in a Rome hospital.  He was born in Summerville, Georgia on October 31, 1952 to the late Lester M. and June Self Dawson.  Mr. Dawson was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and an avid cattle farmer.

        Surviving are his wife, Vickie Jo Dawson; daughter & spouse, Allison & Matt Eubanks of Summerville; grandchildren, Dawson Eubanks and Griffin Eubanks.

        Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 26th, at 1:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmy Wilburn, Rev. Jimmy Bryant, and Rev. Charles Bishop officiating, interment in Greenhills Memory Garden.  Pallbearers will be Ken Lanier, Jessie Miller, Ricky Brown, Ray Casey, Keith Whitlock, Eric Scoggins, and Robert Moore.  The Family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 A.M. until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.
