Mrs. Barbara Jean Ratliff, age 78, of Menlo, GA died Tuesday, October
13, 2015 at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, TN.
 
Mrs. Ratliff was born December 13, 1936 in Menlo, GA, the daughter of the late
Curtis Love and Ida Jones Love.  She was retired from Harriet and Henderson
and she attended New Beginnings Church.  Other than her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ratliff; and a brother, Grady Love.
 
Survivors include her children, Allen Ratliff and wife, Melanie Ratliff, Debbie
Austin and husband, Butch Austin, Gladys Watkins and husband, Ronnie Watkins; sisters, Shirley Galloway, Nell Nichols and husband, Roy Nichols, and Betty Jane Howard; grandchildren, Jessica Hill and Shawn Allmon, Jeffery and Krista Hill, Heather Hill, Tiffany Ratliff, and Brendon Ratliff; great-grandchildren, Aaron Hill, Devin Allmon, Hunter Hollingsworth, and Kayla Hollingsworth.
 
Graveside and interment services will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Thursday,
October 15, 2015, at Ami Cemetery. Rev. Ken Johnson will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Kenny Cooper, Jimmy Walker, Jerry Ray, Chris Nichols, Shane Hudgins, and
Steven McCary.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Standifer Place, Bryan
Nichols, and Johnathan Marks.
 
Mrs. Ratliff will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive
friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015.
