Mr. Jerry Aldridge, age 65, of Cloudland, GA died Monday, March 28, 2016
at Memorial Hospital.
 
Mr. Aldridge was born July 9, 1950 in Blackshear, GA, the son of the late
Isom Manning Aldridge and Rilla Barbara Crawford Aldridge.  He was
employed with Mt. Vernon Mills.  Mr. Aldridge was a member of New
Beginning Bible Church.  He was a veteran of the United States Marines,
where he had served in Vietnam.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in
death by brothers, Harvey Aldridge and R. I. Aldridge.
 
Survivors include his wife, Sara Aldridge; sons, Jerry Bryan Aldridge, Jason
Kelly Aldridge, and James Stacy Aldridge; brothers, J. B. Aldridge and Earl
Aldridge; sisters, Margaret Champion, Loraine Higginbothem, Betty Turner,
Helen Dixon, Lillian Aldridge, Terry Francis, and Barbara Bell; 8 Grandchildren;
and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
 
Funeral service for Mr. Aldridge will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, March 30,
2016 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Dunwoody officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Michael
Kirk, Luke Rape, Corey Clark, Matt Dooley, Kevin Dooley, and Tony Rush.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Camp, all members of New Beginning Bible
Church; and all his Marine Brothers.
 
Mr. Aldridge will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive
friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Wednesday.
