Mr. Howard Gene Hartline, age 67, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, August 8, 2016, at his residence.
 
Mr. Hartline was born January 4, 1949, in Trion, GA, son of Gladys Brewster Hartline and the late Homer Charles Hartline.  He was a member of the Cedar Chapel Church of God, and prior to his retirement, was a self-employed carpenter.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Hartline.
 
Mr. Hartline is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Lee and Natasha Hartline; step-daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Job Ledford; mother, Gladys Hartline; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Hazel Hartline, Virgil and Judy Hartline, Jimmie and Trudy Hartline; sister and brother-in-law, Dona and Ricky Busby; and grandchildren, Timothy Hartline and Haylee Hartline.
 
Memorial services for Mr. Hartline will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2016, at the Cedar Chapel Church of God with Rev. Leroy Nichols and Rev. Charles Hartline officiating.
 
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2:30 P.M. until the hour of service at the Cedar Chapel Church of God.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Cedar Chapel Church of God.
