Mr. Thomas Wayne Shaver, age 75,  of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday July 1, 2017 in  Oakview Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Shaver was  born March 22, 1942, in Trion, GA, the son of Paul Edward Shaver and Violet Deering Haney.  He was retired from Shaw Ind. he served in the U.S. Air Force and was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Barnes Shaver.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law,  Steve DeWayne and Angelia Shaver,  Jeffery Wayne and Connie Shaver, brother and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Linda Shaver, Dee Shaver, sister, Mary Elicker, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday July 3, 2017 from  the Mason Funeral Home Chapel will Rev. Steve Spears and Rev. Jeff Shaver officiating with interment in the Summerville Cemetery.  Active pallbearers, Zack Shaver, Casey Shaver, Patrick Shaver, Ray Jones, Robbie Carroll, Korie Shaver.  Honorary  pallbearers,  the Staff and employee’s of the Oakview Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Shaver will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel and the family will receive friends Monday July 3, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m.
