Ms. Betty Sue Ragland, age 69, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in Pruitt Health Care of Rome.

Ms. Ragland was born February 19, 1948, in Summerville, GA, the daughter of the late Gus W. and Naomi Ruth Cook Kirby.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Stancil, 2 brothers, Jack Kirby and Scott Kirby.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Ruth Ragland, grandchildren, Levi Ragland, Charlsie Ragland, great-grandchild, Ariana Ragland, brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Sherry Kirby, sisters and brothers-in-law, Nona and Dave Gruner, Nancy and Larry Brewster, Shirley and Jerry Hatcher.

Funeral services for Ms. Ragland will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 27, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Rutledge officiating.  Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be nephews and include Jeff Kirby, Jason Kirby, Corey Boyd, Ted Stancil, Jr., Toby Hatcher, and Chris Hatcher.
