Mrs. Martha Lee Davis Brison, age 90, of Lyerly, GA, the Holland Community, passed away Tuesday January 23, 2018, at her residence.

Mrs. Brison was born July 31, 1927, in Polk County, GA, the daughter of the late Quillie Corneilous Davis and Lucy Lee Lindsey Davis.   Mrs. Brison was retired owner of the Sara Frances Shop, traveled all over the world, breast cancer survivor, member of the senior club, PTA, march of dimes.

She was preceded in death by her husband first husband; Walford T. Priest, second husband; Robert H. Brison, daughter; Sharon Clack, sisters; Frances Waller, Laura Nock, Della Chiellon, and Mary Ann Davis, and brothers; Quille Davis and Homer Davis.

Survivors include her children; Paul (Pat) Brison, Roger Hugh Brison, Julia (Terry) Brison Hancock, Shelia McCullough, 9 grandchildren,   and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 28, 2018 from the New Hope South Baptist Church. Interment will follow at New Hope South Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bo Brison, Alex Brison, Ethan Brison, Phil Clack, Dexter Witt, and Andy Howell. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Chattooga County Seniors Club.

Mrs. Brison will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Saturday January 27, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. She will also be in state at the church 30 min prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks for memorial donations to be made to the New Hope South Baptist Church Scholarship fund in Mrs. Brison’s name.

Mason Funeral Home of Summerville is in charge of the funeral arrangement for Mrs. Martha Lee Davis Brison who died on Tuesday.
