Mr. Joey Kevin Boyd, age 46, of Summerville, GA passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Boyd was born June 26, 1971, in Summerville, GA, son of Ronnie Joe Boyd and Teresa Corrine Wilson Ponder. He was Baptist by faith and was employed with Mount Vernon Mills.
Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Janice Lucille Morgan Boyd; son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Kaylee Boyd; grandchildren, Joleigh Boyd and Sofie Boyd.

Funeral services for Mr. Boyd will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 29, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Micca Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow in AMI Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tony Barnes, Mike Wells, Tony Eric, Todd Rosson, Stacy Boyd, and Josh Barnes. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne King, Billy Joe Lemming, and Kevin Bice.

Mr. Boyd will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, January 28, 2018.
