MRS. PARRILEE ALLEN SHIVERS – Age 97, of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018.
She was born on August 6, 1920 to the late Victoria Missouri Allen. She was the oldest member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and in the Choir. Her husband, Horace Shivers, and six siblings have preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her fond memories are sister-in-law, Nancy Adams Allen of Summerville, Georgia; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at New Bethel Baptist Church, 281 Georgia Avenue, Summerville, Georgia, with Dr. Willie Womble and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Summerville Cemetery.

Parrilee was a neighbor of my mother’s Elizabeth Leggett a few years ago in the Hi Rise. She was a great friend and neighbor. I visited her in Oakview where my husband, Derrell Rush has been a resident for 21 days. She was a very sweet lady.
