Mr. McNeese was born October 24, 1938, in Trion, GA, son of the late Walter and Mary Grace McWhorter McNeese.  He was Church of God by faith, and was a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean McGraw McNeese; a daughter, Brenda Dyer; brothers, Donald McNeese, Leroy McNeese, and Lamar McNeese; sisters, Ann Bullard and Brenda Overbay.

Mr. McNeese is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Myra Overbay and Kevin and Denise McNeese; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Blake Campbell, Jerrie Lynn and Ron Edwards, Darlene and David Lloyd, Carla and Eric Ware; brothers and sisters-in-law, David McNeese, Wayne and Tina McNeese, Greg McNeese; sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy and Ray Shaw, Faye Thigpen; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
