High School Football is back on the airwaves tonight on WZQZ and will be carried live on our Facebook page!

It has taken a lot to get here, but high school football is back in full swing tonight in Chattooga County.  Both the Trion Bulldogs and the Chattooga Indians are breaking in the season under new head coaches.  The Indians are in their first season with head coach Shawn Peek and the Trion Bulldogs welcome Sean Patrick to the Bulldog Nation.

The Chattooga Indians got things kicked off last Friday night on the road in a close 35-28 loss to Adairsville.  They will play their first home game of the season tonight at the Little Big Horn as they face off against AAAA Pickens who is 1-0 on the season after defeating Gilmer last week 17-8.

The Trion Bulldogs were off last week and like the Indians, they will open their season on the road tonight against the Coosa Eagles.  The game at Coosa tonight will be the season opener for both teams.

As always, WZQZ will bring you complete coverage tonight.  The Trion vs Coosa game will be the radio game tonight.  Ben Groce and Jeremy Burke will be on the call tonight from Rome.  Pregame show will start at 7pm with kickoff at 7:30.
