A passing motorist reported an abandoned vehicle on Wildlife Lake Road to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office last weekend.  A responding deputy found a Toyota 4-Runner down an embankment.  The engine was still warm and sheriff’s deputy searched the wooded area looking for the driver or any passengers, but no one was ever found. The sheriff’s department attempted to make contact with the owner, but the number listed for the owner was not valid.  The sheriff’s office had the vehicle towed to the impound lock by Luallen’s Wrecker Service.
