An accident snarled traffic on Highway 27 in the Gore area on Friday evening.  According to witnesses, a small truck reportedly ran into the back of a log truck.  Traffic was being rerouted onto John Jones Road around the accident for a period of time.  The Georgia State Patrol has not released a preliminary report on the accident, but WZQZ will pass along the report as soon as it is available.
