A single vehicle accident happened Monday morning on Highway 157 at Cloudland.  A Ford Explorer received major damage after the female driver lost control and wrecked on the side of Highway 157.  Redmond EMS responded to the scene, but it is not believed that the driver had life-threatening injuries.  The Georgia State Patrol and the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department was also on the scene of the accident that happened around 8:30 AM between the three and four mile marker on Highway 157.  More details will be available when the accident report is release by the Georgia State Patrol Post in Rome.
