An accident on Lookout Mountain shut down traffic for  brief period of time on Saturday afternoon.  The two vehicle accident occured when a motorcycle weaved over into the path of an oncoming vehicle.  Neither party was seriously injured in the accident, but Highway 48 was shut down briefly to traffic headed towards Cloudland while emergency workers cleared the accident.  Redmond EMS responded from the station in Menlo along with the Menlo Fire Department.  Details will not be available until a report is released by the Georgia State Patrol Post in Rome.
