An accident at 8:35 this morning left traffic shut down on Highway 27 going into Rome.  According to reports there were at least 6 vehicles involved in the accident that occured near the service entrance to Berry College just north of Georgia Loop 1.  There was only one minor injury reported.  Traffic was blocked in both directions for nearly one hour.
