Highway 27 at Taylor's Ridge was closed, due to a tractor trailer accident, occurring shortly before 11:00am Monday.

During that time traffic was being re-directed down John Jones Road and Butler Dairy Road.

According to a report by the Summerville News, a transfer truck was hauling a load of socks when the mishap occurred; luckily, the driver was unhurt, and there were no other vehicles involved.
