A Floyd County teenager charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a convenience store clerk in Chattooga County, is facing additional charges in Floyd County in connection with a September, 2014 robbery.

According to warrants on file at the Floyd County Jail, 18-year-old Dylon Dave Allen, of a Reservoir Street address robbed the Citgo on North Broad Street at gunpoint. 

Allen stands charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a handgun by someone under the age of 18 and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

He and another individual were previously charged in connection with the robbery at the Melanie Inn convenience store in Chattooga County on January 15th of this year.  The clerk was reportedly shot once in the abdomen during the robbery that took place at a Hawkins Drive convenience store.

He died earlier this month at Floyd Medical Center.
