Summerville Police received a call on Tuesday of this week from an employee at the Dollar General Store located on the Lyerly Highway about a makeup bag that was left inside the restroom at the store that the store employee believed contained drugs and drug paraphernalia.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the store employee who said that an independent contractor was at the store stocking sunglasses and asked for the key to the restroom.  The contractor had finished stocking and had left the store when the store employee unlocked the restroom for someone else.  The employee noticed a bag that was labeled “Wakeup Makeup” inside the restroom.  After examining the contents of the bag, the employee called police.

While police were speaking with the employee, the contractor called the store and said she realized she had left the bag when she got back to her house in Adairsville and wanted to know if she could come back and pick it up.  The employee told the woman that she would hold the bag for her until she returned.

Police waited for the contractor to return and asked her to describe the bag she was missing.  The woman described the bag to police precisely.  Police said that the bag contained methamphetamine and heroine and drug-related objects.

Forty-three-year-old Angela Janette McCuen was placed under arrest for drug possession charges and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
