Friends family members and the public at large continue to worry about the welfare of a 61 woman missing from the Teloga area.
Joan Cook was last seen Sunday afternoon near her home in the Hemphill Road community, and concerns are increasing as time goes on due to her health condition; Cook is reportedly a diabetic.
According to a report by the Summerville News she was last seen wearing a black jump suit
AM1180 received information Tuesday morning from Sheriff Mark Schrader regarding the search efforts, saying they were re-organizing the search teams for the Hemphill Road area with instructions for volunteers to meet at the location at 2:00pm.
Directions to location are as follows: Going north on Hwy 337 turn left onto East Teloga Road, go to the stop sign and turn right. Travel approximately 1/2 mile you will be directed to the parking area. Thanks for your comments and concerns. Please continue to pray for her safe return.
Public personnel was then teamed up with firefighters equipped for radio contact with the command center prior to the search getting underway.
