David Wayne Phillips, 62 of Rome, was arrested Sunday after police said he stabbed a man. Reports said that Phillips and the victim got into an altercation at a home on East Drive just after 8 pm on Sunday.

Reports added that Phillips grabbed a knife and left a ‘superficial’ injury on the victim’s right side.

Phillips is charged with felony aggravated assault.
