The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging plans to hold a public meeting in each of the fifteen counties they serve next month.  The meetings will be designed to get input from the public about service offered by the Agency on Aging.

The Agency on Aging serves Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Fannin, Floyd, Gilmer, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Pickens, Polk, Walker,  and Whitfield Counties in Northwest Georgia.  Organizers for the event say that the public’s input will help them evaluate services now offered and future services for the aging population in our area.

The meeting in Chattooga County is planned for October 27, 2022 and will be held at the Chattooga County Civic Center, located on Highway 48 in Summerville across from Truist Bank.  The meeting will take place at 10 AM.
